Yeah, that is one problem with it, I guess. It's only exploitable from the machines on the same hamachi network as the box it's set up on, but if those are just random computers out on the internet, then I guess it's possible that someone could break in easily. Running hamachi doesn't completely open up the box, though. It only creates a tunnel between it and the other machines on the same hamachi network. Only those machines can get in without opening up ports.

I just installed Hamachi. It *is* pretty neat, but as soon as I realized that I could connect to my internal network without opening a port on my firewall, I got really scared of the possibility that someone will set this up on an unsecured box behind our work firewall and WHAMMO! Instant zero-conf exploitable box.

It was worth it for me, because I used the upgrade as an excuse to really clean up my website. Previously, the layout and all the code was hacked up all over the place and almost unmanageable. If that's not the situation for you, then I don't know.

I'm still running Wordpress 1.5.x... Is it worth the hassle moving to 2.x? I've seen the cleaner admin console, but what else is worth the move?

Given your great Sesame Street terror level script, and some other variations floating around, I had an idea for a new one. Sure, it probably would've been much better 3 years ago, but somethings take time to think up.

Anyways, here's my idea - <a href="http://phillybits.blogspot.com/2006/03/george-bush-presidential-job-approval.html" rel="nofollow">The George Bush Presidential Job Approval Terror Threat Indicator</a>

Is a script based on presidential approval ratings even possible? Think you guys might be interested in it? Let me know
