Go for the Moon

Tonight’s the MLB All-Star game. I don’t particularly care much about it, but I’m sure I’ll watch it at Zodo’s tonight, just like I did last year. Last year, though, I did sort of have an interest in it. I was actually rooting for the AL to win (which they did). That made the first game in the NL park on Brad‘s birthday, and if not for the damn Cardinals, he would’ve had a surprise birthday trip to the World Series. Damn Yadier Molina. I’m not still bitter. Really.

Tonight, I don’t care nearly as much. The Mets should make the playoffs, but don’t look nearly as dominant as last year. Or even as earlier this year. Plus, the surprise just wouldn’t be there this year, so it doesn’t matter that much. I suppose I have to root for the NL, because they play real baseball. Hopefully, at the very least, this year the game will be competitive. Maybe the NL can win for a change.

Stop hating on the Cards. It takes more than just Yadier.

No hate. Just bitterness.
