The Votemaster

So, it turns out that the guy who runs the Electoral Vote Predictor website is Andrew Tanenbaum. The first thing I did when I read that was look up at my bookshelf for Operating Systems: Design and Implementation. Apparently, I don’t actually have that book. I thought I did, but I guess not. He is mentioned in several of the books I do have, and everyone who has studied operating systems should know who he is. I then continued reading the Votemaster FAQ, to see if it was actually the same guy. It is.

I just wanted to say thanks, for your great contributions to operating systems, and for running a terrific website that I’ve been following every day for months now to keep up with the election.
