The Crisco Kid resigns

Attorney General John Ashcroft has resigned!

Ashcroft, in a five-page, handwritten letter to Bush, said, “The objective of securing the safety of Americans from crime and terror has been achieved.”

Woohoo! We’re safe from terror! Ashcroft’s job is done. He is no longer needed. Do we still need Bush?

I hear ya! This was the first time I’ve smiled since Bush took the throne again. I just hope that Rumsfeld is right behind him.

What the f#*@ is he talking about? Safe? Do you feel any safer? What objectives did he accomplish? Does he think we are all stupid? The only thing he did successfully was to whip everyone into a paranoid state and then tell us everything is OK. I want Bush this term to create a cabinet position to prevent elephants from trampling children in school yards and appoint me to that position. I think I might be successful. Sorry for taking up so much blog space. This administration is going to break thier arms patting themselves on the back so much!

Love your Sesame Street “Terror Alert Level.” You rock out. Completely love your blog, too. Rock on.
