Sorry to hear you haven't gotten Moonlight working either for the 2008 video, but it's good to know it wasn't just me. It does seem like a shame that they felt the need to mess with a good thing.

For anyone interested, I just figured out that VLC lets you seek around the archived feed until your authentication times out(I think). This is helpful because of the pregame loop that takes up the first half hour or so of the feed for whatever reason. Hope this helps someone.

could you give some more specifics?, i've just started tinkering with getting mlb.tv to work either in vlc (windows) or xbox media center (XBMC), thanks, and congrats on the success!
