Treo 600 Update

It looks like T-Mobile has delayed their official launch of the Treo 600 until November 24th, which sucks. Handspring, though, should be releasing unlocked GSM 600s next week. If they do, and T-Mobile really has delayed their launch, I’ll be buying that instead. T-Mobile apparently delayed it because Handspring didn’t deliver all the software functionality that they wanted. I’m sure I can deal without it.

I called today 11/25 for the Treo 600 on T-Mobile service and they said that it will be ANOTHER TWO TO THREE WEEKS!!!

They are going to lose a lot of customers….

any other info please let us know..

My local T-Mobile CSR told me 2-3 wks. for the Treo 600 as well. But when I pressed him, he admitted that 2-3 weeks was a standard answer when they had no other information, because that is the usual time between initial announcement and product availability. In other words, T Mobile has no release date for the Treo 600.

This is a very bad sign, given that Christmas shopping season is on.
