Green Bay Comes Through

The Packers beat the Redskins today, ensuring a John Kerry victory on Tuesday. It looked a little scary there when Favre got picked off for an interception up by 6 late in the fourth quarter, but the Packers came back with an interception of their own, scored, and completed a two point conversion for good measure, to win 28-14.

For those counting, this is the first football game I’ve paid any attention to this year.

And the Steelers won too today, putting a stop to the Patriots 21 game winning streak. The first game this season i’ve watched as well. What that says for the election I don’t know but it’s good for Pittsburgh.

Kerry doesn’t have a long suit on logical thought – but liberals are rather touchy-feely, aren’t they. Time such traditions bite the dust.

And good for the Jets, too, which makes me happy.

Yeah, I went to the game. As a Redskins fan, it took a LOT to suck up my pride and let them lose so Kerry could win. *Sigh*.
